Don't let this sub define your opinions on fashion/clothes

Posted: 19 Apr 2017 06:30 AM PDT

This sub doesn't teach you how to dress well. It's much more focused on clothing rather than how to wear clothes that fit well. When people look at a fit, they think "would this look dope on someone with model-like proportions" rather than the person actually wearing the clothes. If you're looking for advice on how to dress better, this is not the place to be looking for feedback imo.

Second of all, don't take the opinions of people here too much to the heart. 80% of this sub are people between the ages of 15 and 20, all of whom don't dress that well themselves. That combined with a heavy hivemind mentality that is the nature of Reddit means that you can't take the opinions of people too seriously.

Lastly, remember that the goals of fashion are to look well groomed, be comfortable, or to make a statement. Whichever one you dress well for, remember that you're dressing well for yourself and that fashion is a personal thing meant to represent you, not the mentality of others.

Thoughts? Im contemplating on buying these but trying to see other peoples thought on these. Is a little pricey so trying to take my time, get other peoples thoughts, and then buy.
