[DISCUSSION] Virgil says streetwear will soon be dead and there will be a move to vintage this year? Posted: 18 Jan 2020 12:51 AM PST Hi guys. New to this reddit, so apologies if this has been discussed before. I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this. I read a few articles at the end of last year in which Virgil Abloh suggested that streetwear is "gonna die" and that people would move to incorporate vintage into their looks. "I think that like we're gonna hit this like, really awesome state of expressing your knowledge and personal style with vintage – there are so many clothes that are cool that are in vintage shops and it's just about wearing them". Curious to hear what you guys think about his statement. As a streetwear fan - and vintage watch lover - sounds great but isn't this already happening?
