Hey guys!

I was out in Amsterdam today because I won the yeezys with Adidas Confirmed. But when I arrived at the store they told me I had to be 18 or bring a parent with me, they wouldn't help me at all and even a phone call or picture with ID on it wasn't good enough.

So I asked these 2 guys in a McDonalds who also bought yeezys from Adidas store what I could do, they told me to ask a random elder man/woman to act like she is my mom. So I actually did and succeeded! But when they scanned my phone my real mom called me so I had to say that was my stepmom, they were all dodgy and it was a heartpounding moment but I did get them :).

I don't even know if you are on the community but if you read this thank you very much!

I ordered some clothes off verycoolshirts.com a month back. I was really excited to receive my parcel but unfortunately, one of the items were faulty and a couple of other items did not fit me in the way I wanted them to, so I emailed them about an exchange. They told me to return the products instead and that I would be refunded.

The string of images above shows the tracking status for the parcel I sent to coolshirtz which shows that they did not claim the parcel I sent and when I tried to contact them on two occasions, they have ignored me.

The contents are worth around 75-90AUD and I spent 10.40AUD on postage so I'm not very happy about this. I am at fault at the part where I did not put my address on the parcel, so I probably wont receive the parcel that auspost is attempting to return to me. However, as I am still a student, I obviously don't have a lot of money to be spending, yet I prioritised a purchase from coolshirtz over other shops and this is the customer service I received. I am not very happy about this and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this type of customer service from coolshirtz and what I should do now?

(Sorry for bad formatting as I don't really post on reddit and I didn't know where else to look for help)

Myself incredibly upset at what I saw around me. People right before the holidays and winter struggling to provide clothing for their kids and family. It was all so disheartening to me as I walked around in clothes I felt like I didn't deserve. Which lead me to this post.

I want to give back this season. I want to help the people in need.

If this gets enough attention, I would like to get with the moderators to make sure I'm not breaking any rules and start a fundraiser for a greater cause. Not sure which yet but I was thinking about getting in touch with the local Salvation Army.

Let me know what you guys think! It's give back season from r/streetwear!

EDIT: So I realized putting something together would take a lot of time and planning. So with that being said, I would like to call on all of you to go out and donate locally to some kind of cause this year. Even if it's just donating some old clothes to a clothing drive.

I know this is pretty obvious but not everything has a resell value. Today Kith Aspen dropped and even though it was pretty hyped in terms of Kith sellout times were manageable and you could cop multiple pieces. If you buy everything with a little buzz your inventory turnover rate is going to be horrible and you'll barely make any money off of it (if any) after fees.

I can honestly understand reselling a Supreme hoodie for 600% markup but reselling a random collab for 200% the first day and then continually dwindling down your margins every week is a waste of everyone's time and ultimately your money.
