Don't worry! This isn't actually a long post! If you already know where to thrift online, skip the large body in the middle!

Hi there frugal friends who live in small cities. Let's talk "online thrifting". By online thrifting I mean websites outside of the traditional marketplaces (grailed, etsy, etc), specifically does that carry vintage clothing.

Share websites; discuss tips, tricks, and findings.

I have started a little list below but it is definitely not finished.

Thriftfitted.com - I love these guys. I've been copping from this website since I first saw their post on reddit and they really have some dope pieces for great prices. For the subtler vintageboys they carry Guess, Ralph, Tommy ofc, Nautica, Adidas, Nike, Calvin. I've also noticed they have a lot of sports/olympics merch and also disney stuff. For you hypebeasts this is where it gets interesting, for y'all they got Supreme, Bape, ASSC, FOG, FOG x Pacsun, etc. Now if you're about to drop $300 make sure to ask for more photos and get a LC (You know I trust you, but you can never be too safe, /u/Thriftfitted). I'm sure they wouldn't object.

Ebay seller: The Vintage Vennel - (/fa/ oversized general represent), this seller has some great pieces for very nice prices. I have only used him for trousers (bought oversized then went to taper the waist and ankles & crop them to achieve that carrot fit), but he seems to have some great shirts as well.

vintagemarketplace.com.au - Never used these but they have some pretty cool pieces, seems like a lot of Nike. Quite expensive though, but might be worth it if you are from Australia and want to avoid international shipping from the other sites.

Agora - y'all know about Agora already. This website is stocked with not only vintage pieces but Agora's own pieces as well (my favorites are the striped shirts & half-zips). Seems to stock a lot of Ralph and Tommy especially.

beyondretro.com - Don't really know what to say about these, they have the usual brands that you'd expect. Looks solid.

truevintage.com - Best for last (or at least close to best). If you are looking for those classic (Ralph, Timmy, Adidas, Nautica, Kappa) brands this is your goldmine. They seems to have a lot of sweatshirts/shirts in particular (their shirts are really nice, a lot of Ralph). I haven't actually ever copped from here, but just looking through it there are so many things that I want that don't actually cost that much at all.

VintageClothesCanada - Fellow redditor /u/iJustWannaShave has a shop on Etsy selling vintage clothes. Use discount code: "REDDIT" for a nice 30% off!

Remember lads, you don't need to break the bank to dress well.

EDIT: A lot of the Ralph on truevintage seems to be CHAPS Ralph Lauren, I'm not really a Ralph fan so I don't really know what that entails. If you know more about CHAPS Ralph Lauren please let us know. (I do believe it's lower quality?)

EDIT2: Some people are worried about fakes, etc, especially on thriftfitted. As with any time you buy through a third party, be it grailed, ebay, or something like thriftfitted: make sure to get the piece legit checked before you buy it.

So i needed a new hat, decided to order a nice supreme hat from copvsdrop.com, i did some research, saw they had a store in new york so no way they could be scamming people right?

well i placed the order the 29th, now its the 20th of next month and i haven't recieved a shipping confirmation, money is taken from my account. I have emailed them 2 times, no responses, I've wrote to them on facebook, responses.

It's just 130$ its not the end of the world, but i have no hat to wear. Just a heads up, maybe not order from them online? Has anyone else had this problem? https://comfy.moe/vdeffk.png

R/streetwear how did you find your style?

I seem to flip flop between different styles. I mean if I see a pair of SLP Wyatts (or even just tan suede Chelsea boots tbh..)I'll be all about that for awhile when I could have been really into Military boots, Ramones and that shit a couple of minutes ago.

How do you/did you stick to a general aesthetic? Is it just what looks good on you? Have you ever had this problem of flip flopping around between different styles?

I'm 6ft1 and i rock the ectomorph body type. I'm not that big and i find it difficult to adapt my clothing style. If i wear skinny jeans, i look like a tall lesbian boy, if i wear to baggie, i,ll look like a tall pathetic gangster. Seems to me like the best style for me is the classy one. Any tips?

best way to clean shoes?

my vans have seen some better days. been through mud and dirt and are currently my daily work shoes (in a kitchen)

anyway to clean these? I tried jason markk so far with barely any progress. Safe to throw these in the wash or will that even make a difference?
