[Discussion] The recent Common Projects chelsea boots are sized significantly smaller

Two pairs of CP chelseas, the tan pair was bought a full year ago and the grey recently purchased on Grailed. They're both size 46 but the newer colorways seem to have undergone sizing changes. The grey pair is distinctly shorter than the tan pair. On feet there's a noticeable fit difference too. I'm a wide US 13 and the tan pair fits like a comfortable 13-13.5 but the greys definitely fit more 12-12.5.

Just a PSA for people looking to purchase a pair, I know the general rule of thumb for CP chelseas is to size down a full size but it seems now you may not have to, depending on the production date. The grey pair's style code is 2018, so I'm assuming the batches/colorways with the same style code will fit more true to size.

I saw some Akira themed clothing and got reminded of jojo's bizarre adventure. Despite a lot of fashion collabs with brands like Gucci, converse, dresscamp, uniqlo, etc they tend to be Japanese exclusive. I've found some jojo clothes on Japanese auction sites, which features some of the main art which is cool. Just wondering if there any brands out there with clothing related to jojo. Can be anything like a popular brand or a indie/small shop like someone's big cartel store.

Big/Thicc boi basics

Henlo friends,

I am a thicc boi in need of assistance, I'm tryna dress confident and fresh but I don't know where to start. I used to buy basics off taobao because its cheap but I soon realized that 80% of the fitting and quality of the basics i buy is trash.

What brands would you recommend me to get for someone living outside the US? I'm looking for materials that are thick so that my fat rolls and moobs don't show.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I personally wore a flannel with chinos and vans almost everyday before I started getting into streetwear and experimenting. I remember wearin snap backs in the 6th grade too haha.

Hey guys. Long-time lurker, first time posting.

I'm a big stickler regarding font usage. I have an unwritten list of typefaces I prefer seeing on clothing. Also, if it's a Windows system font, automatic drop. #sorrynotsorry

Helveticas (and its many iterations) over Arials. Futura is our queen. DIN makes everything look industrial. Hiragino is the master race when it comes to eastern glyphs.

Oh and fuck off, Bebas Neue.

What separates someone who adapts trends and a person who has style?

I've been thinking about this for a while, but what differentiates someone who is simply following or adopting certain trends (but is still considered to have no style), and someone who has a true, unique style?

I feel the Internet has made it easier for people to understand fit and to dress nicely within a certain budget. However, that seems to mean more people might be starting to dress alike even if they slightly adapt the trend to fit their personality. So now I'm given the impression that adapting trends isn't enough to be seen as stylish, and that style requires an additional step.

I'll use Jenn Im / imjennim as an example for women's wear. There are people who say she dresses like any other girl in LA and doesn't have any style, but she doesn't really dress like anybody else. She does adapt trends, and there are certain outfits that I think are strange on her (like her attempt at hiphop / streetwear in her clothing line). Why would she not be considered as having style?
