Am I the only one who feels that half the streetwear community will see a nice looking fit with clothes that aren't brand name and be like "eww thats *insert small brand name here*" but then see an awful, mismatched fit worth $5000 and praise it like it's the best thing they've ever seen? Is it just me or has streetwear and fashion become focused more on the money than the actual looks? Genuinely curious.

wassup yall, i'm winding up for a shoot in september with a pretty big up and coming female rapper and I need to create a mood board. I got most of the portrait shots figured out that I would want, now I need some full body fashionista type images or inspos (models, instagram accounts, photographers who photograph female fashion) that I could grab inspiration from. Any help is appreciated!

Help! Rick Cyclops Geo hook gone!

(not my pic but same problem)

I have a deeply beloved pair of Rick Geos from Cyclops with the hoops/hooks/loops whatever on the back.

I've used them a bunch and love them to death but realized at some point one of the hooks fell off. I was crushed. I saved up a long time for these and...with them gone it just sort of ruins the aesthetic (I guess that's why they only ran with this design for one season)

This seems to be a common occurrence.

I contacted the Rick Owens website customer service and since I didn't buy them directly from them (rather a store in sweden called Mrsh, they cannot help me. Mrsh cannot help me.

Does anyone make or sell replacements for these? Im pretty sure the size of the hook is standardized among the the shoe sizes. Does anyone know who manufactured the hooks for Rick Owens? Maybe I can get a hold of them?

Does anyone have one or any recommendations on what I can do to get a new one?

JAMES VINCENT MILANO CAMPAIGN 2018

The campaign for JAMES VINCENT MILANO collection I is a sequence of ambiguous events.

Divided into four chapters, the noir journey is told through the frames of an imaginary movie that unravels, picture after picture, the identity nuances of the key player, performed by Bill Bultheel.

Through the lenses of CG Watkins, the JAMES VINCENT man is a Western Bond-esque representation of his own ego, harsh but sensual like the shapes and colors of his wardrobe, styled by Cristiana Trimboli.

In the surveillance game he plays, he stands alone owning his vibrant place in the surrounding.

[DISCUSSION] Need suggestions for khaki pants, rings, and necklaces.

Hello, my school year is going to start soon and I go to a (catholic) uniformed school. They're pretty strict about the uniform so I was wondering what some good khaki pants, rings, and necklaces I could wear to look better at school. All the khaki pants the school sells are pretty poor in quality and they're an ugly color (I know they're khaki but if you saw them you'd say the same thing) To be more specific if you could suggest simple and not too flashy rings/necklaces that would be great. Also, what good colors go well with khaki pants?

[DISCUSSION] What constitutes a luxury brand today?

I am curious to know what you guys think of luxury and what it means today. In your eyes and experience what makes a brand luxury? Are luxury and exclusivity the same thing? What are some new brands that are considered luxury? Is luxury exclusively tied to heritage? If we are printing a heritage name on a cotton t-shirt is that still luxury because the name is visible? What do you expect when you purchase a luxury item?

With the speed and availability at our hands today how does luxury still survive? Interested in seeing your inputs.
