[DISCUSSION] What are some winter streetwear no-gos?

I'm heading to NYC over Xmas and New Years. Been there before, but this is my first time going during winter. I live in a year-round tropical country so I don't really have a good idea of what works/doesn't work in terms of NYC winter style.

What are some common winter streetwear mistakes people often make? What are some no-gos for winter style? Personally, one of my concerns is "double-hooding" - my down parka and puffer jacket both have unremovable hoods, so if I wear a hoodie under I'm worried it might look really weird. Not sure if this is a mistake tho.

I did stumble across nwt3k but they're just a little too limited in their fabrics and customisation options for what I'd like to do.

Isn't this highly illegal? He's a 35 year old man asking a 17 year old boy for "pics" (which I would assume means nudes in this context)

I wanted to pick up a pair or airmax but can't decide between the two styles. I'm pretty knew to /r/streetwear and fashion in general. I've always had a particular style and can pick things out. I know what I like when it comes to individual pieces but when it comes to putting an entire fit together I usually fail extraordinarily. I'm pretty set on getting either 95s or 97s because I want a "chunky" trainer. Is it possible to make them work with trousers as opposed to jeans/joggers? Would they look okay with cropped trousers if I had a nice pair of socks? Sorry if this is really unclear, thanks in advance to anyone who replies

I have been searching local boutiques for retro, vintage windbreakers and i came across to this tracksuit and i go to store to check if it fits me but it was so big that it can fit 3 people with the same size of me. [Discussion] OFF WHITE GRIM REAPERS, ARE THEY STILL WORTH IT?

Hello everybody.

Recently, I bought a pair of G.R. for 200$ off a friend at school. Wore them maybe 2-3 times and love them. I have a bunch of fits that go with them. The only problem is, I'm scared of ruining them or having waste my money on them. So I've come to r/streetwear to discuss if these are still worth selling. They are in excellent condition (Practically brand new, just dust on the the midsole/outsole) and worn three times by me and two times by seller, 5 in total for those who can't add. So I'd like some feedback if I should put these up for sale, or just keep them. Also where I should sell them. Thank you.
