the mental gymnastics a ton of people who frequent this sub go through of juggling "it's unremarkable/boring", "who would go outside dressed like they're on a runway" all while dressed head to toe in mall outfits poorly emulating rappers and influencers is astounding.

The whitelist has some good posters but then you also have these annoying ass posters who post every other day like damn, I wanna see what other people are wearing but im not tryna browse through the entirety of your personal instagram.

and the worst part about the userbase is the superiority complex so many of yall have. if you're gonna constantly act like a condescending dipshit, at least have the fashion knowledge and outfits to back it up. We got 15 year olds in their nmds and kanji hoodies talking down on brands, designers, and other users like theyre some type of hot shit and theyre opinions are worth weight in gold.

Only part of this sub I can stand browsing are the megathreads since it's just some regular ass dudes doin their shit.

Sad how a forum meant for discussion about fashion has become medium for high schoolers to measure their prepubescent dicks against each others.

Talking about established brands that have ventures beyond just clothing. Record labels, Skate teams, interviews etc. Basically just interesting content and output.

Eg:
Deathstride their I.G. Death Stride's online Radio station, Skate Clips, music shows and music promotion

Marino their I.G. A$ap Ant's skate apparel brand Skate Clips + Music and Video

Know Wave I,G. Know Wave's art installation, Online Radio Station, podcasts and music shows.

Basically just brands with content I can keep updated with and keep following, if you know any post the I.G and link please so I can check them out?? Thank you

Hopefully this is an okay place to ask this. Was wondering if any of you guys knew of any websites for custom hoodie or sweater designs which allow you to customise the sleeves as well as just the front?

I was looking for a game where i could browse through brands and "Buy" clothing or something like that. What i'm trying to say is that i want a genuine fashion game that isn't like a princess dressup game. Are there any? And if there is someone out there kind enough to tell me, can u tell me if there's streetwear or not? xD i don't want no tailoring.

I was getting an outfit together and i had just bought a polo beanie and a tommy hilfiger tee that i liked but i kinda felt tacky for wearing two brands like that together. I wound up wearing them cause i kinda had no other choice. but it got me thinking about what brands people think shouldnt be mixed. i know people dont like it when you mix things like adidas and nike, are there any other examples, maybe even just your own personal preference?

[Discussion] Psychworld sucks

My buddy and I both bought the og green on black hoodie when it first released and neither of us have worn them yet due to temperature.

Well as it turns out my buddy's hoodie had a huge factory defect on the hood (the stitch was in the wrong place so there was a huge hole) so he contacted them via email to see what they could do. No response. He sent a dm to the psychworld Instagram page and they responded with a shipping update on the newest hoodies? So then he sends another message asking for help and they just left him on seen.

We've tried contacting them multiple times but they just read it and don't reply. Real classy psychworld.

What's good streetwear community. I want to address something that have been causing me stress.

Over time our fashion choice changes and some of us may be lucky enough to purchase new pieces without having to resell some of our old pieces. I have personally bought plenty of clothes from Zara when I started caring about how I dress, but this led to excessive purchases that cluttered my wardrobe until today. Nowadays I find that I'm more of a "quality over quantity" kind of person when it comes to shopping for clothes but I also lack the closet space.

I am finding it really hard to sell a lot of my clothes from brands like Zara and other mass-producing companies. Some suggestions that I have received from online blogs and personal interactions with friends is to bring them to thrift shops, donate them to friends & family, post them on platforms such as Grailed or Depop, etc. I really want to donate my clothes, but I would prefer if I can get 10-30 dollars for something I have previously purchased from Zara.

I haven't sold a single item over the course of 2 months. Do any of you have any suggestions as to how someone like myself can help declutter my wardrobe?

I'm there from the 8th to 10th. I visited NYC last year and checked out basically every store in soho. What are some special things I should do this time around. Open to any suggestions. Thanks

[DISCUSSION] Hard time finding jeans

I've been having a hard time finding jeans that fit properly. I like a fit with a relaxed thigh/roomy crotch area but something pretty well tapered from the knee through to the ankle. Only one brand I've found seems to fit me close to the way I like (Only & Sons Slim fit jeans), and I'm hoping I can get some tips on where to find what I'm looking for. I'm a 30 or 32.

EDIT: The word I should have used for the knee to ankle was 'skinny'. Seems 'tapered' isn't quite as fitted as I intended.
