Recommend websites to get hoodies and cargo pants from? Posted: 26 Jan 2022 09:01 AM PST Recently got into the sneakers game and want to get some items. Looking for websites (that ship internationally) to get some streetwear from. I'm looking for reasonable quality but don't wanna drop 100$ on one pair of pants. Essentials hoodies are a plus. submitted by /u/Oravital1 [link] [comments] |

Is Anyone Else Beginning to Feel Like the Streetwear Scene is Bullshit… Posted: 26 Jan 2022 04:54 AM PST I had this thought spurned today after reading the latest news of A$AP Bari (Mr. Vlone Thug himself) and his homophobic rant on Instagram and it got me thinking, wow how is it that this guy runs one of the most successful brands in the industry. The man literally seems like he struggles with basic grammar in his Instagram posts and stories. His Nike collab looks like it took 5 minutes to design. You click in any insta post on Asspizza, Vlone, etc. and there's tons of people complaining about lag of order. Yet people suckle from the teat of the hype gods, while those of us without that backing can't gain a stable following. It's almost like, wow, hype is a privilege to have because you have to be in the right scene with the right people, or the right connections to get your clothes on celebs. Without celebs your cloths are worth nothing. And that's the hard part- meeting celebs, it's a privilege small creators don't have. submitted by /u/DismalQuotients [link] [comments] |
