[DISCUSSION] Why is Carhartt Wip so much more expensive than Carhartt?

Everything I can find online says that Wip is similar quality, just slightly more appealing designs and better cuts so why is it at least 2-3x the price? I would really love to get a Wip coat for the winter but when I keep reading its no better than a normal Carhartt in any regard besides mildly better cut and style I'm baffled as to why its so much more money.

[Discussion] Streetwear Snapchat Group Story

There used to be a really active group story for streetwear on Snapchat where a bunch of people were discussing stuff and it was really cool to be a part of, until Snapchat updated and fucked up the feature. But now group stories are working the same way again sooo if you got a Snapchat add @shreymann and ask him to join the chat to get that group back going yea. You can post like fit pics or pickups or discuss whatever yea it's great

I designed it with an all over sublimation and a custom cut and sew panel. Used a pattern I cut like 2 years ago from a long sleeve tee and it turned out great. Instead of screenprinting the emblem I used a 3D printer to get it a raised rubber look to add more quality. Also wanted a 1970's soccer vibe to the jersey, so I put white ribbing on the neck and wrist. Let me know what yall think.

Hi Guys,

Around this time last year, I started working on this special design-driven collection called Most-Rated. I got multiple Chinese companies to manufacture each piece specifically according to the design and the results were shocking for me because it's the first time I go down this path...

I never got the chance to sell online, rather I started giving out product to friends and family. Now that I'm looking to get rid of what I have so I can start working on newer designs :) I won't mind sending you (yes you) free product – you cover the shipping to promote if you have a decent following on IG, Twitter..etc (feel free to PM)

I've worn carhartt for a while, and ive been thinking about ordering some WIP stuff soon. I have some questions about the fits tho if anyone could help out.

I wear a size XL in Carhartt original fit, and I'm wondering if a xxl would fit me in WIP? Also some of WIP's tops are described as "loose fit", so maybe that would work on me?

If anyone has any advice or even measurements of their xxl carhartt wip tops pls let me know!! thanks.

I feel like streetwear has been leaning away from "decorative clothing" (for lack of a better term) like hoodies or sweatshirts with various designs on them in favor for newer and more unique silhouettes themselves, which I really enjoy seeing. However, I was curious as to which designs appeal to y'all in a streetwear environment, while still being able to be worn in more casual settings. For example, a lot of Off-White pieces are just normal sweatshirts with the recognizable "crosswalk" pattern printed onto them, which makes them a distinguishable and versatile piece of clothing. Which basic items with unique prints on them are you guys' favorites?

Ask this question and you'll get a lot of answers about a brand's identity, it's ethos, origin story, collabs. etc. But none of those alone are a brand. Realistically, a brand itself is nothing. You only know that Supreme started as a skate brand because you read an article or watched a documentary about it. A brand is a complete sum of everywhere it exists. Find more places for your brand to exist and do it in better ways, and you have a bigger brand.
