Last week we asked for your thoughts and suggestions for a weekly outfit challenge. Based on your feedback we have decided to let people submit and vote for what themes they would like with the mods ultimately deciding the upcoming theme.

So what we want you guys to do is to submit all your ideas and other feedback. Please only have one suggestion per comment (but feel free to make more than one comment) to make it fair, comments which don't follow this will be removed.

Well firstly thanks to all who voted for me, appreciate it a lot. Also shoutout to all the brands who sponsored. Heres the album, doesn't include every single thing but has all the big pieces and I've be mentioning whatever isn't in the album. Review will be in order of package size ascending. Images aren't in order cos idk how to use imgur properly

northeastkeys Sent the green longsleeve. Good thickness, I really like the washed look of it. Could potentially use a better screenprinting service though imo.

wolf & man Sent me the polka dot shirt. It is thin but very good quality and feels good imo. Its a warm beige, almost pink so doesnt quite match up with my beige wardrobe, and polka dots arent really my thing but some girls have complimented so take it as you will.

OHBOI Decent quality shirt, quite a good screenprint, no faded patches or loose flakes on threads, but is definitely still a layer on top. that being said its pretty far from my style.

Truce Apparel Amazing shirt. I love the design and the screenprint is the type where its well in the shirt and doesnt change the texture. Its also made in the USA and the material is very thick. All around great quality. Also came with nice minimalistic stickers

THE TAR PIT CLUB Sent me a hoodie, a hat, socks and a shirt. I really like the stone colour of the hoodie and the brand is embroidered on the front. I got it oversized as so its very comfortable. It is quite thin though and the inside is that white fluff material that is initially very fluffy but i think it might be the type that loses its fluff over time. Or maybe that was just my primary school hoodies idk. The hat has an embroidered mammoth in a tar pit which is cool. The socks arent in the pics but theyre high socks with the tar pit club on them in white. Always appreciate high socks. The shirt is very longline, quite slim, and good for layering, decent thickness. I would like to say thanks for asking what I would prefer to receive, even if you werent able to carry through with the beige shirt :) And thanks for the stickers and the sour lollies i think that was you guys

Hypland Soz the picture is filtered I took it off my instagram lol. This was the biggest package that also came the fastest amazing shipping time aha. Also came with a rubber wristband and stickers, which is always cool. The two striped shirts are very nice, even if its not my insta style its good for day to day wear. Ive been wearing the black quite some, shoutout to /u/ChillWithRaheel for telling me that it was from the movie Boss Nigger otherwise i wouldnt have had any idea. The hypland hat is embroidered and the belt is very nylon with flags yuh. No new zealand flag tho should get that checked out mustve been faulty quality control. As for the crewneck (fitpic from my insta at the end), ive been told that it was a sample product after they changed factories. It is ridiculously good quality material, very heavy, comparable to the crewnecks you would get from cav empt. It has so much layering and panelling made into it. Even though mint green had never been my colour, i really liked the colour blocking with white and the japanese flag patch on the arm is dope. other arm has hypland screenprinted down it. Also the red ring around the neck is an accent thats in the crewneck itself, and kind of compliments the flag patch. Id have to say i wouldve prefered the box screenprint on the chest to be embroidered, but thats just a small personal preference.

Overall it was a fun experience unpackaging everything :) Truce Apparel and Hypland exceeded my expectations in quality and design though. Thanks again to everyone who voted

drawstrings

do you prefer drawstrings on your clothing or not? for example, hoodies look better without drawstrings in my opinion. although, it just depends sometimes. what are your thoughts

Is it acceptable to go a whole size / half size, for the purpose of throwing an insole in, or just getting that extra toe room?

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you purposely size up a tiny bit just for the sake of putting an insole in for comfort? or just cause you like having more toe room.

My personal scenario -

I own a few vans (authentic/slip on/old skool), all size UK9, and I use a flat foot heel insole anyway. (I've been measured, and my feet are between 8/8.5, but all my 9 vans feel fine, also no half sizes were an option)

I recently got the vault slip ons recently in the same size, and boy they fit bigger, so I'll have to send them back.

I also ordered the vault x brain dead eras in a 9, WHEN 8.5 WAS AVAILABLE, feel like I may have messed up, but I wasnt sure what to do cause all my vans are 9.

So I wanted to ask, is it worth keeping them, and use a thin full insole with my heel insole for comfort, or take the L, and pay shipping back to Sweden for an exchange? I've just been really beating myself over it, I was gonna cancel but they started the shipping process in 1-2 hours after ordering.

(I dont look goofy in size 9, I always take 9 if half sizes arent available)

Alright so I really can only seem to pull together a decent fit with lightwash skinny jeans. I see other people rocking all different kinds of bottoms but I can't do it my self. How do I expand from some basic ass jeans?
