u/streetweardon i'm putting you on blast you fuck. www.risela.us is his Shopify storefront and I sent him money via those means.

I've been wanting to buy his Sistine Chapel hoodie for months now, and was just recently able to afford the $70 he wanted for it. it's not listed as sold-out, backordered, or anything that might warrant a 4+ week wait for shipping. I was supposedly 'able to email for refunds' if desired and ....

Here we are beyond it's due date. My sweater was ordered on 7/11/2018. Shopify customer service encouraged me to contact him on social media before taking legal/financial recourse, because they're only a medium for stores to connect with their audiences, and there's nothing. No email, no reddit/instagram correspondence, no refund, nothing. I personally dont fuck with facebook, insta, or twitter, so it was a stretch for me to even make an insta account just to 'whats up' u/streetweardon.

there has been no contact except him deleting his instagrams (www.instagram.com/rise.losangeles) (www.instagram.com/long.rise) after I cordially confronted him on those social media platforms.

i wish Shopify and Paypal worked together, cuz now i have to physically go to my bank, fill out a bunch of paperwork, and spend a certain amount of time i shouldn't need to just to GET MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK FROM THIS INTERNET SCROTE. i guarantee you even Bill Gates would work at getting $70 back from a 'business owner' that had tried to fuck him.

if anyone knows this dingleberry aka u/streetweardon, tell him that his credit is about to get obliterated. AFAIK, he's some Cali->Chicago Art Institute flake that listens to hip hop who loves his religious views enough to put them on his merch without telling his customers. I have nothing against any religious organizations, but to find out that my arm was gonna carry a 'GOD IS GOOD' sentiment without knowing it was a little bit of a fucky move.

u/streetweardon, after this, good luck getting an apartment out of Rosemead CA or a car that isn't under your rich Vietnamese parents' name you fucking scam artist.

Seeing that fall is coming soon, I want to expand my wardrobe with denim jackets to which I am unfamiliar with. I saw some denim jackets from forever 21 for men that seems decent but given my inexperience with denim jackets, I didn't buy them. What are some good basic denim jackets y'all wear? Basic with no artworks are preferable.

I have lived in the Dallas area all my life and have been into the streetwear, vintage, sneaker, scene for a while. I only know of very few stores in the Dallas area that sell things like this and was wondering if anyone knew of any good stores in and around Dallas that sell streetwear and sneakers and those sorts of things? Especially looking for good vintage.

Has anyone had success at finding a brand with particularly black clothing? I've looked into the use of Vantablack, but it turns out it has toxicity issues and can't be used with clothing.

The closest thing I've seen so far is a German start-up that was funded through Kickstarter a few years ago, but all they have are t-shirts. Would love to hear what you've found!

So I really fuck with Air Force 1s that has a yellow tick on them but hey only sell them in women's size in the UK. I've looked up the size conversion from women to men and am ready to buy them. Just to make sure, are there any real differences between the two shoes? Is it worth it or am I just wasting my money?

[discussion] What is the best way to buy limited gear from overseas?

I'm moving from London to Singapore in a couple of months for a new job. So this means I won't be able to easily get my hands on the latest drops from some of my favourite European streetwear brands upon release and I might have to rely on Asian resellers.

Would anybody have a recommendation on the best way to get limited drops without having to pay double the price from resellers?

I was thinking about using a service like Taskrabbit to pay someone a small fee to queue at the store or buy the shoes/clothing online on the release date/time. This might cost a little extra but at I know that I'm not being extorted by a reseller.

How do other people living in Singapore or other places like Japan and China handle this?

Thong sandals to the club? [Discussion]

I wore some thong sandals with some girbaud jeans to the club the other day and noticed I got some mixed looks. Some girls kept staring at my feet and others basically rolled eyes. A small group let me talk to them. So my question is basically what do you guys think about the thong sandal and Jean combo? I did get a few numbers. I had on a polo and folded my collar in this time instead of popping it with a Franco style gold chain.
