Mod Announcement: Rule 3 Update

Since the change of the sub, we've been seeing a lot more activity, which is nice, but we've also seen an influx of toxic behavior.

We're here today to reiterate Rule 3 and to outline specifically banned behavior.

Here's rule 3 from the wiki:

3. Trolling, creepshots, sexism, racism and otherwise uncivilized behavior will not be tolerated. This includes slurs, bigotry, and comments about 'only upvoted because X'. We want to project a welcoming environment for newcomers, for our experienced users, and for future users. Criticism is a massive part of this subreddit - it's how we improve, however blatant bashing that provides no useful feedback is not something we condone and will be removed at the discretion of the moderators. Any school shooter comments will often warrant a permanent or month long ban.

Trolling/joke comments are fine as long as they also provide legitimate constructive criticism and they aren't directly insulting the OP.

School shooter comments, i.e. "school shooter core"' or "if I saw you in my class I wouldn't show up for the next few days" are now explicitly banned. These types of comments are often coming from outside of the community, but nonetheless more often or not they will earn you a permanent or month long ban.

Any comments generalizing race/religion/sex i.e. "Why do I only see bleached haired asians on this sub?" or "This pic was only upvoted because of girl." will also warrant a permanent/month/week/3day long ban depending on the severity of the comment and will be up to the discretion of the moderator.

EDIT: /u/Bleblebob made a really good suggestion. Along the same lines of school shooter comments, homeless comments will also be explicitly banned.

TL;DR:

When you are typing a comment just ask yourself "WAAHST" (Would An Ass Hole Say This?).

If the answer is "Yes.":

Step 1: Delete the comment.

Step 2: Don't be an asshole.

Tl;dr I'm out $2k and not bc I'm buying ow jordans 😞

I camped out for Bape x Adidas Saturday morning at Haven Vancouver and ended up being outside all day.

Things I did after drop:

Traded size Medium camo tights for size Large camo tights to Stephen Crego.

Sold a football to Aleix @hak206 at Stay Fresh PC for $470 cash.

Sold ubs on Stock x

Got ambushed at the end of the night with my back turned at 7:30PM at a TD atm branch on King Edward and Knight St while trying to deposit the $470

Tried to deposit the cash like 4 times but the ATM kept spitting the bills back out

Assailant could be 40 years old, very scruffy looking, wearing a backpack, honestly looked homeless and didn't look like he knew anything about Bape or hype

Was waving around a fire extinguisher (bear spray?)

There was also an accomplice outside that ran away with him with all my stuff

What was stolen:

$470 cash

Haven bags: -Adidas x Bape Green Camo and Gold Football x2 ($784) -Adidas x Bape Green Camo Ultraboost Size 11.5 x1 ($364) -Adidas x Bape Green Camo Tights size Large x1 ($100.80) -receipts for the things I bought at Haven and football sold at Stay Fresh for $470

$1718.80 of bape stolen

Hudson's Bay bags: -Stampd brand logo black hoodie size small x1 ($54.98) -Stampd brand "Community College" logo grey shorts size small x1 ($74.76) -Hudson's Bay blue suit bags x2 ($n/a) -receipts for the Stampd hoodie and the Stampd shorts

$129.74 of bay clothes stolen

HOWEVER they left my phone, wallet and Moose jacket alone πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

This happen to anyone? Anyone know anything about this ? What else can I do in this situation? Filed a police report and gave my statement but not sure if much can be done.... guess I'm out $2k and gotta explain myself to stockx πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ

If you guys can help me keep a lookout for anyone selling all these specific sizes on craigslist, marketplace, etc

Reciepts would have had my name on it

$200 reward to whoever finds the suspect or items
