Yeah so, I've got some old Carhartt hoodies I bought back when I had no real concept of style, and basically wore em daily. I've got one in Olive Drab and Brownish-Red.

and since my style has evolved I've scarcely worn them. My main go to hoodie is usually riot society.

I usually wear Black pants and Docs.

The fuck do I pair these things with man?

Maybe I'm tripping, but a few years ago, maybe 2014-2019ish, you could find damn near any shoe on Ebay. The most obscure shoes would pop up on there at some point, even if not in your size. Puma has a collaboration with a furniture designer from Prague? Just wait for it, it'll be there soon. Looking for those Adidas that released a few years ago featuring prints from dada artists? Dig a little, they're up there. Reebok has a shoe that was a tie-in with a cheesy B-movie? Yep, someone has them up. Back then, if it didn't hit Ebay, you could bet on a Grailed or a Stock X.

Now it seems there's no hope in getting almost anything anymore unless its a Nike, Yeezy or Jordan. Ebay is all but dead, Grailed doesn't seem as active as it once was and Poshmark/Depop mostly has popular shoes. Sometimes I open up Ebay, begin to type in that obscure sneaker collab and just stop and ask myself why I even bother.

Is this a thing, or am I creating a false narrative here?
