Rick Owens x Adidas Level Runner High Review

Hey folks, there are no reviews of this shoe on the internet, so I'm doing one. This is the latest collaboration with Rick Owens and Adidas. Unlike previous models, this one has a much thinner looking sole and features Boost. Rick Owens has stated himself he thinks it is the sleekest Adidas model he has made with them yet. I got these for $520 off eBay. While it's still a pretty damn high price for a shoe made in China, it's definitely better than the $1,150 retail price.

Please don't make fun of the nail on my thumb I was about to cut it :(. I got these in a US 11 and have compared them to my 11.5 Old Skools. I tried on an 11.5 and 10.5 in the Rick Owens store in LA (super nice staff btw) and the 11.5 was way too big while on thee 10.5 the toebox stitching was uncomfortably close. They have this SUPER soft leather throughout the shoe, and the ankle sock thing has some elastic in it. It has the same pamphlet that they put in all of their designer collabs that basically just say that they aren't real athletic shoes. It also features a flimsy ass box, just like all of the other Rick x Adidas shoes( C'mon man the shoe is 1150 just make the box sturdier: . Someone said to me that they don't like the "BOOST" debossing on the heel, but it actually only comes like that on the low version. The only branding on the high is on the outsole and in the insole, where it has the Rick Owens and Adidas logo. There is a rough suede heelpatch inside to keep you from slipping out of this big leather sock. The insole is full leather just like most of the other Adidas collabs. The low actually has one of those window things so you can see the boost. You can feel the boost surprisingly well for how encased it is. Of course it's nowhere near Ultra Boosts or Yeezys, it's still very comfortable. The bounciness is distributed evenly throughout the shoe. It also has this grey block thing on the side, reminiscent of an NMD. I think it adds nice contrast to the shoe. It isn't as intrusive as the NMD plug though, you can barely feel it, and when you do it isn't uncomfortable. Overall it's a really nice shoe, and it's my favorite Adidas collaboration yet.

Sorry for the lighting it was 3 PM so it looked super gross outside. I'm wearing a uniqlo T-shirt and Damir Doma shorts. Also as a note, I like them more without leggings because otherwise I have the anime thigh meme thing but with my calves.

[DISCUSSION] Large Patches for Denim Jackets

I recently bought a denim jacket with an ugly ass screen printed design (jacket itself is dope though and was on sale). I'm thinking of getting a large patch to cover up the existing design, probably around 10 or so inches in size? (So quite large). Anyone know where to get patches like these? I've had a look around a number of places and can only seem to find real small ones which is a bit disheartening haha.

Question about guys with skinny ass arms

I'm about 5'10ish and weigh 120lbs, and I'm quite the pinner. I'm insecure about my arms, and I'm just wondering if i should go for boxy tees or slim tees that are more slim around the arms. Not really sure about what approach i should take, any help would be welcome thanks.

Are cropped jeans/trousers a trend?

I feel like every summer cropped jeans/trousers see a surge in activity here, but I'm trying to figure out if they're a trend or a staple.

People argue that harringtons and bombers are staple because they're iconic and malleable due to relative minimalism.

Are the ~retro cropped jeans just the next zipper pants when there's high fashion brands like Acne Studios embracing them, or are they just a signified type of denim.

Trousers? They've been in Japanese fashion forever, what about here?

Fixing Supreme Cash Cannon

Let's just say that we had too much fun and the black rubber that spits the bills out & the motor shifted so that the bills don't dispense properly. Anybody have suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Insoles for shoes too big

Can anyone recommend me a good insoles to buy as I've bought some trainers that are too big.

They're slightly wide and a little too big in length, I'm not sure if there's insoles to suit the needs of that.
