Hello everyone!

We're looking to make some seriously big changes to the sub, hopefully in the coming weeks, but at least before the end of January. I've come here now, to see what your thoughts are on all of the possible changes to come.

So here it is, New Year Review.

Also if you have any other suggestions/criticisms/thoughts, this is the thread for them.

[ART] Never seen another one of these Complexcon Guess tees before in person. It was a happy surprise finding the olive and maroon c/w's while wearing the desert tee. Thought I should share.

[INSPO] December Favorites

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 01:08 PM PST

[INSPO] Got this for 40$ at a local vintage-store in Hamburg. We all had a H&M print shirt that was ripped after 4 times washing right? This sweater is from Superbowl '95 and the print might have some minimal cracks, but overall the quality is mad for a 24 years old sweater. Love this piece

[Discussion] What’s your opinion on jewelry?

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 05:50 PM PST

What do you think about jewelry nowadays? Do you prefer subtle pieces like rings or loud jewelry like Cuban chains or lock chains? What's your opinion?

[DISCUSSION] Elitism and hating on brands

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 08:27 PM PST

I see a lot of people hating on certain brands simply because of bad associations they have with the people who wear it and not how their clothes actually look. Ellesse for example make a lot of items that look good, but because apparently lads like to wear this brand they're absolutely trash. I feel like a lot of you are buying purely based on what will project a certain social status, which is elitist nonsense.

We should buy based on what we find aesthetically pleasing and the quality, not to fit into some elite rules about which brands are 'allowed'. This elitism is the problem with streetwear communities. Fashion should be about expressing yourself, not conforming.

If you don't want to look like a chav or a lad or whatever, just don't wear every single heavily branded piece at the same time and behave in a scummy way. You don't have to completely avoid a certain brand or hate on brands (and the people who wear them) as if those brands are objectively worse than what you like to wear. Thank you

[Discussion] This is what I want to achieve this year

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 09:42 PM PST

So I found some Instagram accounts that call my attention. I've been looking for the style I want to get ever since I started reading this subreddit a while ago. I think I found it with this gentleman. I would love to know what's the name of this street wear tribe and also some tips on how to get there from being a total beginner. Thanks everyone.

Here are my inspirations:

[DISCUSSION] Trousers to wear with Champion Reverse Weave

Posted: 06 Jan 2019 04:21 AM PST

Just bought a peach Champion Reverse Weave hoodie, as well as an off white Wood Wood x Champion long sleeve, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to which pants I can combine them with. The pieces are arriving in the mail this week.

[DISCUSSION] What outfits would look good with black sneakers?

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 04:11 PM PST

Recently ordered some white reebok classics with the gum sole. They came in the male today but I opened the box to find they're black. Before I ship them back, I want to see if there are some ways to make black sneakers "work". Ive never really worn black shoes, but want to give them a chance just in case. What are some fits for men that look good with black shoes?

[Discussion] What other branda are out there that are lighthearted and not very serious?

Posted: 06 Jan 2019 12:38 AM PST

Edit: Title should say brands.

I am a big fan of brands like Bored Teenager and I kinda like dumbgood. I have seen a few others like some made in china parody type brand and this tongue in cheek satanic brand. Anything you guys know of that's kinda in that same vein?

Good Jean Brands [DISCUSSION]

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 10:20 PM PST

I need some new jeans, and need some cheaper brand recommendations (obviously nudies, acne and A.P.C fit amazing). I don't want any distressing or zippers. I fit 29/30" waist, 32/34" inseam, 6" leg opening.

[Discussion] Any Catch Me If You Can - Type inspiration albums ?

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 06:08 PM PST

Just watched the movie and got the mood to dress like young Leo (or just like the 60s/70s Style) Something hooks my mind everytime I see someone in a movie dressed like that probably because it looks so damn cool and classy (?)

So just link me any album you got that kinda fits my description. Already thanks in advance guys!

[Discussion] I forgot the name of a brand of cargos

Posted: 05 Jan 2019 01:55 PM PST

a few weeks ago, someone linked to a label which mostly does cargo pants for men (maybe women too?) in a couple different styles and some of the styles come in really cool, bright colours like yellow and purple. the cargos looked to be made of really high quality.

I wish I'd saved the link but unfortunately did not, if anybody has any idea what this label is it would be great, really wanting to pick up a few pairs
