Posted: 15 Jul 2017 08:06 PM PDT So about 3 weeks ago I went to this museum exhibit made up of outfits worn in the Star Wars movies and realized how boring like 90% of outfits I see really are. All my outfits feel so similar and basic. A pair of sneakers, tapered jeans, and either a t shirt or a hoodie or a jacket (denim, bomber, etc) based on the weather. Now back to the outfits I saw. They were so extravagant and unique. They wore things you almost never see here like robes, capes, ponchos, etc. Now I'm not saying we should all start dressing like Star Wars characters. I just feel like everyone (with a few exceptions) on this sub dresses too similarly and we never see anything that breaks the mold. I want to at least try to find a couple pieces that are rather unusual. How do you guys feel about this? And do you guys know of any places where you can buy any unique pieces? [link] [comments]

When did Hypebeasts comments section become such a cesspool? Posted: 15 Jul 2017 11:50 PM PDT I haven't really used hypebeast in 3 or 4 years but I recently read an article about the Adidas x Gosha collab and the comments section was 85 percent racist and homophobic bullshit. Since when were hypebeasts such racists pieces of shit? Don't they know the diverse origins of streetwear and how many awesome designers are gay, seems a bit strange to participate in a community that has so many roots linked to counter culture and minorities if all of your comments are racist/xenophobic in some way. Posted: 15 Jul 2017 11:26 PM PDT Felt like pretty much everything was on sale. Got some Season 4 crepes for 375 which was actually very reasonable. [link] [comments]

Catching hate for this shirt but I like it. What do you guys think? Too girly? Posted: 15 Jul 2017 04:56 PM PDT Here's a photo of me in it. Thoughts? Edit: Thanks for the opinions guys. Going to return the shirt. A few people have raised some valid points. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jul 2017 09:18 PM PDT I go back to school early next month (still in summer school) and I need some help with purchasing a lot of basics that are inexpensive, but also won't die on me after 6 or 7 washes. I'm already covered for shoes so don't worry about that. My goal is to buy many blank basic t-shirts, blank hoodies, two pairs of jeans (black and light wash blue), a few pairs of shorts (preferably sweat shorts), and pair of sweatpants. My budget is $250. Do any of you frugal shoppers out there have any suggestions? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jul 2017 09:12 PM PDT Going to Denver in a couple weeks. I have some money to spend and was wondering if there were any good places to shop? It could be anything (thrift/secondhand, high end, streetwear, malls, etc.) [link] [comments]
