Finished off the left shoe, Jiren/Goku are next! Vegeta: I'm sending you back to Hell. Frieza: Haha. Your threats are as empty as your title. All hail Vegeta, Prince of no one.

Making a Statement- Bold colors, loud prints, and statement pieces.

Posted: 03 Jan 2018 01:35 AM PST

Most inspo in this sub is always really black or with mostly earth tones. I mean being ninja'd out is cool and all, but it ain't everybody's thing.

So instead of complaining, I decided to make an inspo album completely dedicated to bright colors and loud pieces for adding flair to your wardrobe.

Note: The primary factor at play in this album is the color and the statement pieces themselves. That means that some of the photos you will see may not necessarily fit the best or may just be in trash fits.

Hope you all enjoy!

If you have any loud inspo, please feel free to drop it in the comments. Always looking for some fresh loud inspo.

There's also a lot of you guys in the album (I think?) , but I'm too lazy to credit everyone on imgur. So a big shoutout to everyone who posted these awesome pieces and uses of color.

Introducing /r/SneakerFits

Posted: 02 Jan 2018 01:34 PM PST

I've started a community about sneaker-centric fashion. /r/Streetwear expands far beyond sneakers for footwear, so I thought that I'd give those who would primarily focus their fashion interest in sneakers a place to post and discuss their outfits.

/r/Streetwear is a community about a certain type of fashion, whereas the goal of /r/SneakerFits is to attract sneaker heads who want to want to improve their sneaker-based outfits.

I do not intend to compete or detract from /r/streetwear, rather I think this community bridges the gap between /r/streetwear (and other styles) and /r/sneakers. I hope that this allows for some of the content that doesn't align with the focus and general styles/trends of /r/streetwear to have a proper home.

If this interests you at all, please come take a look and maybe post something at /r/SneakerFits

Is it worth picking up a sewing machine if you have no experience sewing?

Posted: 02 Jan 2018 05:19 PM PST

I've seen a few posts around here advising people to use a sewing machine for customising clothing; specifically tapering jeans at home. While it looks pretty easy and is definitely something that I would want to do, I have no experience sewing whatsoever and wouldn't want to ruin my clothing through inexperience. I've seen some second hand sewing machines for around £30 and and I'm considering getting one so any advice is appreciated.

Cheers

What is your favorite thing about streetwear?

Posted: 02 Jan 2018 05:11 PM PST

I bought a trucker jacket on sale to try and bleach it. I got some spots that are darker than the rest and I’m wondering if anyone knows how to fix this or at least make it look less bad lol.

What hairstyles go best with each fashion style?

For example, which hair goes best with the slp look? The skater look? Techwear? Dadcore?
