[DISCUSSION] Best Quality Tees In Streetwear

Posted: 02 May 2018 10:49 PM PDT

The value of a quality tee is often underappreciated i think. With so many brands printing on Gildan blanks it is super uncommon to find a high quality fabric tee in streetwear. I am actually pretty disappointed at this. Many times i wear a shirt with a design i am not fond of, such as the Supreme Louis Vuitton tee, because i absolutely love the feeling of the shirt. Sometimes i even sleep in it. I think most of the focus of outfits is on the outer look of the outfit that people have forgotten the importance of the inner feel of an outfit. I feel great when I have good feeling fabrics across my body. But aside from the Supreme Louis Vuitton tee and a few SLP tees I have no quality tees. I want to change this as soon as possible. With that being said, share some of your favorite quality tees below.

When is it summer for you guys in this subreddit? [DISCUSSION]

Posted: 02 May 2018 12:41 PM PDT

When is it summer for you guys in this subreddit? I have only seen a few fits that are catered to warmer weather and even then, people are still wearing long sleeves. Summer is easy as other people say Cool tee shirts/ or some v lightweight long sleeve shirts with rolled up sleeves. Cool shorts/ chino shorts/ sweat shorts/ patterned shorts/ lightweight cropped pants/ lightweight pants cuffed up. For shoes you can do runners and more runners/ maybe some boat shoes if you're into it but I'm not lmao. And you can really use a lot of accessories in summer like chains/ sunglasses/ hats/ bracelets etc

Donald Glover and Tyler the Creator are the kings of shorts and tees fits the material. Linen, summer weight wool, rayon, technical fabrics etc. are all better than cotton or denim for hot days. So yeah guys don't be afraid to show legs honestly lol

[Discussion] For those who shop on the internet a lot

Posted: 02 May 2018 11:19 AM PDT

I've recently come across ShopToList on r/frugalmalefashion, I haven't seen it here.

It is a website that allows you through an extension to save all the products you want to buy and get notified by mail once the price drops.

All you have to do is to go on the (landing page)[https://shoptolist.com] and install the extension. You then just go on a product page you like and click on the button.

They don't have a mobile app but at least it works everywhere unlike shoptagr which I used before.

I don't know what more could I say but because of the 150 words rule I can add that you can also create custom list, that there is of no add, that it is free, that he founder is an old redditor and reply to all the comments on the r/frugalmalefashion thread so I guess he will do the same here.

[Discussion] What Brands do you get for cool versatile Short Sleeve Button Ups for Spring/Summer?

Posted: 02 May 2018 08:52 AM PDT

The weather has finally gotten warm in NYC and i'm interested in copping a bunch of new Short Sleeve Button Ups to rock with jeans, swim trunks, and shorts during the Spring/ Summer. Recently while walking downtown in West Village came across this Palm Tree Shirt from jachsny that I copped which is great, but really want to build on this type of assortment in my closet from multiple different brands. What other brands do you guys recommend that make cool printed short sleeve button ups and reasonable prices?

[DISCUSSION] What are your favorite more formal brands? Not necessarily high fashion stuff, but just nicer shirts and pants and such

Posted: 02 May 2018 09:29 PM PDT

So I don't necessarily mean like incredibly formal tuxedo designers and stuff, but closer to the kinds of pieces that A.P.C. or Carhartt might do. Ive been building an incredibly casual and linear wardrobe for a long time, and recently realized that I could try some really interesting and new fits/styles if I incorporate more high quality or formal wear into my stuff. I really like the aforementioned A.P.C. and Carhartt, and Acne Studios sort of fits the bill as well. I'm just wondering what this sub's personal favorites are. Thanks!
