[DISCUSSION] Hey r/streetwear! I have some questions for you guys for my English paper.

Posted: 05 May 2018 02:51 PM PDT

These questions aren't mean't to offend anyone in any way, and you don't have to answer all of them. Also, I wil be quoting replies in my paper if that is okay.

  1. Describe your vision for how everyone should dress.

  2. How much do you spend on clothing each year? Are these prices reasonable to you?

  3. Was the money spent on your clothing worth it to you?

  4. Describe how you feel after purchasing streetwear clothing.

  5. What is your motivation to continue buying streetwear clothing?

  6. How do you view todays fashion trends?

  7. How do you view people who don't buy streetwear or trendy clothing?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my questions! I really appreciate it.

[DISCUSSION] Ways To Find Dope New Streetwear

Posted: 05 May 2018 06:42 AM PDT

I am looking for more sites like Browns. Sites that have many quality brands on them, not the personal sites of the brands. I also want to find more of these dope small brands. I think sites like these are important because i go there for brands i already like and i end up discovering new brands. There are so many amazing brands that i never would've found out about if i simply closed the window before i scrolled down the page. Outlets like Hypebeast and Highsnobiety are okay to read but i rarely find out about a new brand on those outlets. I see those outlets as a way to keep up with current trends, not so much for discovering new ones. It's weird because the same thing that happens with these brands happens with these rare websites. I discovered four today. All of them have my style of clothing and yet i had never heard of them before. So post your favorite methods of discovery below :).

[ADVERT] My brand just dropped its first design inspired by the story of parkour athlete, Jared Nahulu, with 50% of the profit being donated to the nonprofit Direct Relief. Thoughts on our first drop, our business model, and general feedback?
