Is r/streetwear turning into r/sneakers?

Over the past 2 weeks, every time I jump on this sub, usually 1 or 2 of the top posts are discussing sneakers and are at least 3 posts on the subject on the fist page alone. Now i'm not trying to say that you can't post about sneakers or the subject. Just noticed the influx of sneaker related posts over the last couple of weeks and was wondering why.

Ps: Sorry for the meaningless rant. long day at work.

They're the brand that has like those designers redone on like the old hip hop graphics, and I purchased the Raf Simons one recently. I have received a charge on my card, but when I attempt to ask about shipping, they have ignored all my emails.

They were active on instagram, so I tried to contact them there, but I just got blocked.

They're running their brand with awful customer service, and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience this.

Toronto Black Friday Stores?

What are some stores to look for in Black Friday in downtown toronto? Besides Uniqlo, Nordstorm and Winners don't know what else comes to mind. People have suggested just walking down streets and see any sales that catch my eye, any particular streets to check out on? Any suggestions would help, anything not too expensive cause I'm in uni and gonna be a broke boi soon
