Posted: 29 Oct 2017 05:22 PM PDT Heres the comment from the post found here Back in 2015 when I started this account to document and share my fruit stickers collection, I never imagined that it would become such a major source of 'inspiration' in the fashion industry. Maybe it's a compliment that my carefully curated collection has gained so much attention that it's deemed cool enough to use on $3000 jackets and $200 jeans. 🙄 The luxury streetwear brand @off____white by @virgilabloh and Australian women's clothing label @gormanclothing by @_lisagorman have both recently drawn upon my collection for their latest releases. Whilst I'd be wrong to claim any sort of rights over the designs themselves, it's telling that both of these brands were so devoid of imagination that they couldn't look beyond my instagram page as their design source (btw thanks for following @silverpalmm, graphic designer @gormanclothing 👋🏼). They ripped off my curatorial efforts, not my designs and it's simply lazy. 😴 I've shared 600 stickers so far, but my physical collection spans thousands. I could have easily worked with either of these brands at the development stage. ¯_(ツ)/¯ As it goes I'm also pretty clued up on which designs have expired copyright, something that neither @off___white or @gormanclothing appear to have any knowledge of as they have both ripped off designs from major distribution brands such as @dolesunshine and @chiquitabrands... Thoughts? (4th image reposted from @diet_prada) What are you guy's thoughts? I've been following this account for a while and am a big fan of the dudes curations and work, feels kinda slimy to me. (also ripping off designers and artists is fucked up) EDIT: Seeing a lot of comments directed at me (as OP) so feel it necessary to state this isn't my post lmao, just spreading the info I saw on the account. Anyone here groom their eyebrows? Posted: 29 Oct 2017 06:11 PM PDT I feel like eyebrows are important to your fit lol. and makes you more attractive lol. case in point Dave franco with eyebrows (https://i.pinimg.com/736x/db/0e/99/db0e990dc47b3f1a092de4fe5b570eb8--franco-brothers-dave-franco.jpg) Dave without eyebrows(https://img.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeed-static/static/enhanced/webdr03/2013/2/5/12/enhanced-buzz-orig-6045-1360086818-5.jpg?downsize=715:*&output-format=auto&output-quality=auto) I also took a trip to the mall today and some dudes decked in streetwear had the nicest eyebrows ive ever seen. I'm talking thicc, well shaped black eyebrows that look they maintain them. that basically inspired me to make this thread. Also, does anyone have tips to grow out somewhat sparse eyebrows. Inspo for starter jackets? (80’s-90’s) Posted: 29 Oct 2017 06:36 PM PDT Saw a post with a girl wearing a NY one on here and i've noticed they've become super popular lately. just wondering how you guys might style them. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Oct 2017 01:36 PM PDT Basically I have the same question for all the major streetwear brands, Supreme, Bathing Ape, and Palace. How did they all get so popular? How did they make it to the top? What was the turning point that launched these brands? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Oct 2017 03:34 AM PDT Hey guys, anyone ordered from US Asos and is from Europe? Did you have to pay custom fees. I tried contacting their support and I was told it would ship from UK but I am not sure about potential custom fees. [link] [comments]

Love airmax 97 but to rock with slim jeans looks like bricks Posted: 29 Oct 2017 07:55 AM PDT So I'm feeling the whole airmax 97 latest craze but swear when you rock with slim jeans/trousers they look like bricks at the bottom. Same goes for AF1. Any shoes that aren't doing that? I got CDG converse, Slip on checkered vans my main go toos at the moment but need some with more colour. [link] [comments] |
