[DISCUSSION] Advice on styling a Varsity jacket?

Hey guys,

Bought this varsity jacket a good few months back now, and whilst it's likely my favourite piece I own I don't actually know how I can style it. Does it require a certain wardrobe? Is it a versatile piece? Genuinely have no idea.

The Jacket (I don't own these jeans or shoes anymore which is partly why I'm asking for help.)

I'm mostly asking for advice since I've noticed over time, jackets like these seem to be catered to slimmer builds, and being a larger build I was hoping to get some advice from the sub.

I understand it's pretty unlikely on here for larger built people to crop up on here (that I've heard of, anyway) so I get if this post is a lost cause, I'm pretty hopeful though that there's enough people on here to hopefully get a few tips. I don't know if it'd help but I could post my stats if need be.

So I bought the Adidas Lucas Premiere X Helas skateboard shoes because, even though I am not a huge Adidas fan typically, these I really like. Only thing is, now that I have them in front of me (I bought them online), I feel like they come off as a bit girly (I'm a dude). Before anyone freaks out asking me what's wrong with being girly blablabla do it for you blablabla, I don't care. I don't want to get fucking bullied over a pair of sneakers lol

So here they are in all their glory; I don't mind the pink details at all, but I do think the combination of baby blue on the heel and the pink details makes them look like they could be worn by Barbie. That being said, I like them very much this way.

So here's my question:

Am I being dramatic and they look perfectly fine and I can rock them and no one will think they're girl shoes

OR

Should I buy a bit of fabric dye and dye the baby blue part in the same dark blue as the stripes are, which is not really that much of a hassle and I will like them just as much while having peace of mind

Hey there, I'm currently studying Graphic Design and Illustration at University.

I'm creating a Streetwear magazine for my final major project which will be showcased in exhibition around summer time.

I would really appreciate any help towards the magazine as I'm struggling with photography and writing the articles.

If anyone is willing to help me with this project, I will commend them within the publication and send you a fully printed copy of the magazine free of charge.
