[DISCUSSION] What's the Most Comfortable and Adaptable Streetwear Shoe? Posted: 02 Jun 2018 10:05 AM PDT Hey guys, I'm going travelling soon, I need a pair of shoes that will both go with a large amount of fits (I'm going to hot countries so will be wearing more colourful summery fits), but also comfortable to walk long distances in whilst interrailling across Europe. My original plan was to go for a high top chuck (black or white) just so that my fits still look coordinated, but came to the realisation that it would be extremely taxing on my feet. They're also not that sturdy of a shoe compared to more trainer style shoes. And with the amount of walking I'll be doing it could really wear them down. I've been looked at a lot of new balance 373's, but was wondering if there were any better alternatives for the same price (£50). I'm based in the UK also so will need shoes available here. All recommendations would be helpful. Cheers. [link] [comments] | ||

[DISCUSSION] Redditors who can sew clothes and streetwear pieces, how would a beginner start? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 10:44 AM PDT With summer in action, I want to learn how sew, because it seemed cool to have a lot of freedom making cool streetwear pieces (also, bc I'm short). But after looking around for some youtube videos, I'm wondering where and how everybody started in the process of learning how to sew. Did you practice using the machine first? Did you learn the basics first, or did you just jump into your first project? What are good fabric to use? How much practice does it take to make the super cool cut and sew pieces? TL;DR: How did you learn how to sew, and how did that process look like? [link] [comments] |
