[Discussion] Jackets for the Summer - Do they work?

So, I've been analysing my wardrobe recently and been trying to rebuild and I've noticed my jacket and coat selection is really weak.

I'd say my weakest is my jacket selection and strongest is shoes. To be fair, my jackets aren't even that bad they're just all mostly winter.

What are your opinions on jackets in the summer? Do they work? I'm thinking of getting a like nice denim jacket from apc or something and then maybe a chore jacket probably. I'd like something that goes with my pink margiela Gats and my pink common projects tbh.

I feel jackets are the easiest way to make outfits interesting but there isn't much choice in the summer. I especially think now would be a good time to buy now all the big sales are on.

If you have any good suggestions that could work send me some links but tbh I'm thinking of just starting to wear a Navy or beige linen suit with my pink margielas haha.

[DISCUSSION] Good graphic tees for summer

Does anyone have any good recommendations for some good graphic tees? I like the "kind of punk" aesthetic and mainly brands such as; Brain dead, MXDVS, Palm Angels and even though i can't afford them Alyx and Raf Simons.

Quality has to be decent, and price not outrageous

Also if anyone has some good places to shop for tees, please share them below (like the DSM t-shirt shop or something)

[DISCUSSION] Fuck Siberia Hills Part 2

So after waiting 6 months for my Valentines day order and paying the customs charge to release my hoodie, it finally arrived today. Here is a photo of the hoodie straight out the box - this is not what I ordered on the 14th of February over 5 months ago; as you can see in the original email confirmation and again in the shipment confirmation.

On top of the hoodie being outright wrong the sizing on it is awful, after wearing an older Siberia T shirt from HBX I decided it would be best to size up to XL as it was heavy duty cotton that shrunk slightly after a few washes, hoping the XL would give me a bit more room in the hoodie. I am 6"2 and the hoodie goes to nearly above my knees, it is the most ridiculous fit I have owned as well as being made from cheap quality thin cotton.

Outside of the emails shown above the only contact "Daf" (owner of Siberia Hills) made with his customers between February 14th and now were these 2 emails - once in April and again in May apologising for the delays and promising compensation for those who have waited "extended amounts time".

Of course upon opening my parcel today there was no "gift" or compensation but instead the incorrect item as I said earlier.

The most frustrating thing about this is knowing there is likely no way I will be able to get a response from him so I guess just use this as a warning if anyone was considering buying from them as they release their new collection in a few days time you will likely see some endorsement from the usual names.

[DISCUSSION] New Raf Simons x Adidas Ozweego shown at Paris Fashion Week

Raf Simons' SS19 show was today at Paris Fashion Week and Raf debuted a new Adidas shoe, obviously based on the Ozweego. The shoe has a taller version of the Ozweego sole with a (leather?) sock-like top, and a zipper on the outside of the shoe. Adidas officially tweeted out pictures of the shoe in a triple white colorway as well as a white sole/metallic upper colorway.

I actually kinda like the shoe but would like pictures showing the full design of the shoe, how tall the upper is, etc. rather than on-foot fashion show pictures. This definitely is a high fashion statement piece rather than a casual shoe like the Ozweego, but a white sole/black upper on these could look great. I would prefer a different design on the sole, as the chunkiness of the Ozweego sole combined with turning it to a platform-like shoe really throws off the sock-like upper imo.

I've been a fan of the 1461 model for some time now. Becoming a fan after discovering them from this sub as many fits would include the 1461 or the 1460 model. Focusing on the 1461's I specifically like the shoes ability to make a regular fit look sharper and cleaner as oppose to wearing some AirForces for a more casual look.

To get to the point I've been wanting to pick up some 1461's for a while now but ive been having a hard time deciding which pair to get as there are many different styles and colors.

I was hoping If I could get some advice and recommendations from anyone and from owners of any 1461's. How many pairs do you have and what has been your favorite pair? Also if you could give any advice to future owners and examples on how you style them into your fits

Which of these brands wins when it comes to three categories: A) Overall aesthetic B) Creativity C) Versatility I have always enjoyed these brands and I have my personal favorite, but I would like to see arguments made for either brand and what appeals someone to them. Both of these brands are iconic in streetwear and seem to just be natural staples with a variety of the apparel. This discussion should be aware that we are looking at the whole apparel brand not just shoes. Now attack the thread!

So I found a profound aesthetic bomber used in great condition for 50 bucks. https://imgur.com/a/g3gaq3F Should I pick it up? I like the design, and I think I'd like thin nylon bombers, as I'd be able to wear them during spring, fall, as a layering piece in winter, and even during the cool summer days. I love Japanese culture and Japanese characters on clothing, so I love the design of this piece. However, I've heard Profound Aesthetic has somewhat lackluster quality. Is the quality comparable to H&M, Forever 21, or any standard stores? The base price for this bomber is 150 usd, so maybe people rag on it for that, but for 50 bucks, it looks like a steal to me. BTW, im 5ft 9 and weigh 120lbs. Is small a good size for Profound Aesthetic?

TLDR: Looking at this bomber, is the quality worth 50 bucks and is the fit right for someone my size? tysm

I noticed this on sub that shorts do not seem very popular, especially during the warm seasons, which is surprising. Now I know some of guys are dying under your Acne jeans so I'd like to start a discussion about shorts. During summer, I personally wear shorts about 90% of the time but my fits are getting a bit repetitive and I would love to get some suggestions on where to buy some shorts that fit nicely. I usually like to wear shorts with with sneakers and white socks but would also love some inspo on how to style them. So WHERE do you get your shorts and HOW do you style them?

[DISCUSSION] Kappa and Fila coming back?

I recently noticed that these two brands were making a comeback somehow and I wanted to know what you guys thought about them. To me, it seems like Fila has (or had, idk) a cycle of popularity where it falls out of favor and then is trendy again out of nowhere (this seems to happen every 5 years or so)

Kappa, on the other hand, seems to be a low-key brand: everyone knows about it, what it is and generally appreciates it but its hard to find and not many people wear it.

These two brands also had a pretty good run with Gosha and this cemented, imo, a potential comeback for Fila. Kappa also hit home with their Kontrol release a month back, mocking themselves for what they became and portraying themselves as a "stay at home, Netflix brand". These are all my (bad) guesses so anyone to educate or enlighten me on this is welcomed!

I really need some help on where to buy my clothes, what matches with what, etc. Im about to go on vacation and i need to dress in color. I like oversized fitted tops, but I know that Yeezy clothing is oversized. I fit a size large but like extra large for it to be oversized. should I get a size large or extra large.. Now that there are select clothing on sale on yeezy supply. I want to treat myself to my first yeezy supply piece, I'm thinking it would make a great graduation gift from me to me. Also I don't understand why this subreddit makes you put over 150 words. It really doesn't make any since. Does anyone else like the CALABASAS JUPITER CREWNECK, I've kept my eyes on it for a long time. Now finally it's on sale, so I can actually afford it. All though personally the HAND DRAWN CREWNECK SWEATSHIRT out of the season. Anyways thank you for listening to my long ass post. But actually if someone can please let me know what the sizing is on these so I don't have to worry about getting the wrong size. Thank you!
