Updated the r/streetwear Header

Hey guys, I just updated the header, and I was wondering what were your thoughts on it.

What do you guys think about the gradient styling?

I selected the fitpics by going through the top posts of the past year grabbed from there, checked out our most popular contributors and grabbed the outfits that fit the gradient style well. I also tried to include a couple of standout outfits from smaller contributors.

When I first made the last header I said I was going to try and update the header once every few months, kinda failed on that. But now I will be updating the header once every other month so we can get a better few of the most recent/best outfits.

I recently went to Afropunk Festival in Brooklyn. Tbh, I was shook at the fashion. You had Wakandan warriors on one side, and futuristic African knights on the other. Everyone comes with the crazy fits so I decided to make a shirt of my own. Designed with Kim Jong Un in mind. I've even been thinking of expanding the idea behind this shirt and doing different dictators from around the world.

Hope its not too offensive for some of y'all.

I mainly aim for vintage or essential pieces when I go to the thrift. Interested in what others find :)

The other day I went to a gigantic thrift store and saw an obey hoodie. My sister said that obey is old, but the other day I saw a guy wearing it. So now, I'm just wondering if I should have grabbed that hoodie. Is it still socially acceptable to wear obey. Or would I just look like a guy that was cool in 2012.
