[DISCUSSION] Anyone else addicted to resell sites? Posted: 14 Apr 2018 03:54 AM PDT Noticing a lot of people (myself included) are admitting to spending tons of money and time on resell sites like Grailed or Facebook groups. The apps in particular are built for mindless scrolling and some people are even offering finance deals now, making it super easy for people to get into debt. Someone I know has spent way more than they can afford on sneakers and hoodies this month. Is anyone else in the same boat or just noticed this slight downside created by the resell era? It seems like young people especially are prone to spending all of their money – just to raise their clout - rather than smartly saving for the future like previous generations. Full disclosure: I'm a writer and would love to write a piece on this if anyone is willing to give their thoughts and experiences.
